1 (5). Judy Pendergast, senior, North Naperville (Illinois): Broke Anna Rohrer’s course record at LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute by eight seconds in a sensational performance at NXN Midwest.

2 (1). Katie Rainsberger, senior, Air Academy (Colorado): The favorite to win NXN Southwest on Saturday in Arizona

3 (3). Weini Kelati, junior, Heritage (Virginia): A serious national championship contender, she ran 17:22 in windy conditions to win her first state title.

4 (2). Nevada Mareno, junior, Leesville (North Carolina): She dominated the North Carolina state meet and should enter the postseason full of confidence.

5 (NR): Stephanie Jenks, senior, Linn-Mar (Iowa): Her long-awaited season debut was very impressive. She won the NXN Heartland race in convincing fashion (17:01.3).

6 (8). Annie Hill, sophomore, Glacier (Montana): Her undefeated season now includes a victory at the NXN Northwest regional, but she has her sights set on Foot Locker instead.

7 (9). Hannah DeBalsi, senior, Staples (Connecticut): Won her third straight New Englands title.

8 (6). Kate Murphy, Lake Braddock (Virginia): Cruised to a 26-second win in the Virginia Class 6A meet.

9 (4). Ella Donaghu, senior, Grant (Oregon): Takes a slight hit for third place at NXN Northwest, but we suspect that she was there to qualify.

10 (23). Allie Schadler, junior, Rio Rico (Arizona): Crushed the Arizona state meet course record; NXN Southwest is next.

11 (14). Taylor Werner, senior, Ste. Genevieve (Missouri): Ran a very fast 17:14 to win the Missouri state title.

12 (15): Christina Aragon, senior, Billings Senior (Montana): Her most impressive XC race to date put her right behind Hill at NXN Northwest.

13 (11). Lauren Gregory, junior, Fort Collins (Colorado): Big test coming against Rainsberger and Schadler at NXN Southwest.

14 (NR). Claire Walters, eighth grade, Fayetteville-Manlius (New York): The New York Class A state meet is a pretty incredible place for a coming out party.

15 (13). Jessica Lawson, junior, Corning (New York): Ran out of room trying to catch Walters in New York.

16 (NR): Cailie Logue, junior, Girard (Kansas): She ran an impressive 17:12.1 for second place at the Heartland regional.

17 (17). Courtney Wayment, senior, Davis (Utah): Idle.

18 (18). Julia Heymach, junior, Lamar (Texas): Fastest at the Texas state meet in a muddy quagmire. NXN South is this weekend.

19 (26). Cate Ratliff, senior, Santa Cruz (California): Won the CIF-CCS title at Crystal Springs.

20 (10). Grace Ping, seventh grade, Cotter (Minnesota): Placed third at NXN Heartland.

21 (16). Bethany Hasz, senior, Alexandria (Minnesota): Minnesota AA champion was fourth at NXN Heartland.

22 (NR): Bailey Hertenstein, sophomore, Riverview (Florida): Won the Florida Class 4A title with an impressive 17:32.6.

23 (30). Alyssa Aldridge, sophomore, Mainland (New Jersey): Fastest of the day at the New Jersey Groups meet at Holmdel Park.

24 (NR). Libby Davidson, junior, EC Glass (Virginia): Placed second behind Kelati at the Virginia Class 4A meet.

25 (12). Abbey Wheeler, senior, Elmira (New York): A rough outing at the NYSPHSAA, but a chance to redeem at Feds.

26 (NR). Amanda Gehrich, senior, Tesoro (California): All signs point to a strong state meet.

27 (NR). Anna West, senior, Lafayette (Missouri): Runner-up at the NXN Midwest regional.

28 (24). Ashton Endsley, junior, Abilene (Texas): Had a bad day in the mud at the Texas state meet, but NXN South could be a different story.

29 (NR). Anna Sophia Keller, junior, St. Anthony (Illinois): The junior won her third Illinois Class 1A title. Foot Locker Midwest is next.

30 (NR). Hayley Jackson, junior, Patuxent (Maryland): Broke the course record at Hereford on the way to the Class 2A state title.
