\n2005 maybe? though they might have been ranked that year (they ended up as the #5\/6 team in WA, so probably were outside the top 10 at some point that year)

\nTo be honest, the NW#5 spot was one of the harder calls to make this week -- North Central looks like the better team in a national field, and by a larger margin than Mountain View is the better regional team. But, seeing as these are regional rankings and not national rankings, that MV won the head to head (albeit in a close race), and NC hasn't really had a notable race yet this year, I gave the edge to MV. NC could move up pretty well in the rankings once again with a strong race at Richland tomorrow.

\nEDIT: Actually, looks like NC only made the bubble that year? Not sure I agree with that (prior to when I started the Fleet 15 the only regional rankings were done by the NTN Rankings Committee).

\nEDIT2: Last time NC was unranked was Week 7 in 2006<\/strong> (October 27, so just for the Eastern Regional that year). If we're looking at only Top-5 rankings though (since these are only Top 5), then it would be the Final rankings in 2006 (they were #6, #7, and #7 in the final three weeks in the 2006 rankings). We were in advanced network training for 15 weeks in blocks of 3 weeks over a year's time , so got to know each other pretty well, but lost contact over time.
