2 (2). Noah Affolder, senior, Carlisle (Pennsylvania): Can cap a great regular season at the Pennsylvania state meet on Saturday.

3 (5). Seth Hirsch, senior, Millard West (Nebraska): He torched the Nebraska state meet course record.

4 (3). Brodey Hasty, junior, Brentwood (Tennessee): Top runner in junior class has Tennessee state meet on Saturday.

5 (4). David Principe Jr, senior, La Salle (Rhode Island): The Rhode Island state championships are Sunday and New Englands are six days later on Nov. 12.

6 (13). Curtis Eckstein, senior, Oldenburg Academy (Indiana): If not for the wind, he might have gone sub-15 at LaVern Gibson.

7 (6). Cooper Teare, senior, St. Joseph Notre Dame (California): He won the boys D5 sweepstakes race at the Mt. SAC Invitational in 14:44.7.

8 (7). Noah Jacobs, senior, Corunna (Michigan): Hoping to go wire to wire in Michigan with state meet on Saturday.

9 (8). Reed Brown, senior, Southlake Carroll (Texas): Won another close battle with Alex Maier at regional meet.

10 (10). Finn Gessner, senior, Madison La Follette (Wisconsin): He defended his D1 title in Wisconsin running 22 seconds faster than last year.

11 (9). Luis Grijalva, senior, Armijo (California): He won the Monticello Empire League title.

12 (11). Sam Worley, senior, Comal Canyon (Texas): He won his regional meet to set up a showdown with Reed Brown at state.

13 (12). McKay Johns, senior, American Fork (Utah): He was only seven seconds behind Clinger at the Utah state meet.

14 (14). Joe Benson, senior, Timpanogos (Utah): He retained his Class 4A individual title in Utah.

15 (21). Alex Maier, sophomore, Flower Mound (Texas): He was hot on Reed Brown’s heels at regionals. 

16 (15). Michael Vernau, senior, Davis Sr (California): He won the Delta League title for the second year.

17 (16). Daniel Bernal, senior El Paso Eastwood (Texas): He was third at regionals behind Brown and Maier.

18 (17). Derick Peters, junior, West Central (South Dakota): He won the North Dakota state title.

19 (NR). Tanner Norman, senior, Classical Academy (Colorado): He won the 3A Colorado title with the fastest time at the state meet.

20 (18). Talon Hull, senior, Weber (Utah): He was third in the Utah Class 5A race.

21 (19). Waleed Suliman, senior, Douglas Freeman (Virginia): He won his conference meet in 15:18.

22 (20). Jack Aho, senior, Grayslake (Illinois): Primed to defend his Class 2A title in Illinois.

23 (22). Noah Carey, senior, Guilderland (New York): He won the Section 2 Suburban Council title.

24 (24). Chase Equall, senior, Bozeman (Montana): He won the Montana state title.

25 (NR). Hunter Moore, senior, Olentangy Orange (Ohio): He ran 15:28.5 to win his region title and beat Arjun Jha.

26 (25). Yacine Guermali, senior, Camas (Washington): He’s running great heading into the Washington state meet on Saturday.

27 (26). Ahmed Muhumed, senior, West Salem (Oregon): Looking for a repeat Class 6A title in Oregon.

28 (27). Taylor Vroon, senior, Brentwood (Tennessee): Tennessee state meet is Saturday.

29 (28). Nathan Henderson, senior, J.P. McCaskey (Pennsylvania): Second to Affolder at district meet.

30 (NR). Dylan Jacobs, junior, Carl Sandburg (Illinois): He won the 3A Marist Sectional.
