High School Regional Rankings Girls XC 2025 - 10/9Published by
Girls Regional Rankings - 10/9/25 By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Big mid-season invitationals continue to shape the regional rankings and last weekend's slate caused many of the adjustments in this week's regional rankings update. At Great American, the James Robinson girls from Virginia not only upset Webb School of Knoxville TN but they out-performed everyone in the Southeast region and moved into the No. 1 spot, just ahead of Brentwood TN, which won the Frank Horton Night Classic. There was also a strong performance, somewhat under the radar, by the Penn Charter PA girls. The Quakers finished third at Great American and have moved into the Northeast rankings at No. 3. At the Nike XC Town Twilight, Carmel IN took care of business and confirmed its No. 1 ranking in the Midwest, but a very strong performance by Mt. Prospect (Prospect) IL has moved the Knights into a top-five spot. At the Chile Pepper XC Festival, Bentonville was able to take advantage of the absence of Rogers' Lilly Beshears and won the team title. Beshears should be back soon, so Rogers could have the upper hand again at the Arkansas state meet and NXR South. The Texas school are entering district meets this week and those results, especially for Flower Mound and Bridgeland, will indicate the trajectories of the South's Nos. 1 and 2 teams. Two impactful meets this weekend are the Clovis Invitational in California and the Manhattan Invitational in New York City. The Hole-In-The-Wall Invitational and Rose City Championship Invitational are highlights of the weekend in the Northwest. CALIFORNIA HEARTLAND MIDWEST 3.
