Stanford Aims To Fend Off Colorado at Pac-12s By Adam Schneider of DyeStat Top-ranked teams Northern Arizona and BYU dominated at the NCAA Division 1 Pre-Nationals meet in Wisconsin two weeks ago and now they head to their conference meets this weekend along with the rest of the country’s top teams. Four of the top 11 teams, and five of the top 13 teams, meet in Palo Alto for the Pac-12 Championships. Since Colorado joined the Pac-12 the Buffaloes had won every Pac-12 title until last year. This year No. 4 Stanford is hosting the meet and will try to repeat as champion. Second-ranked BYU and No. 3 Portland will battle in Provo, Utah for the West Coast Conference Championship. Big conference meets this weekend: Oct. 26 Iowa State and Oklahoma State at Big 12 at Ames, IA Oct. 26 Syracuse, Virginia, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech at ACC at Boston, MA Oct. 26 Mississippi, Arkansas, and Alabama at SEC at Auburn, AL Oct. 26 Boise State, Colorado State, Air Force and Wyoming at Mountain West at San Diego, CA Oct. 26 Stanford, Colorado.
