Much To Be Revealed With Big Meets This Weekend

By Adam Schneider of DyeStat

Many of the top teams will be racing at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational. Top-ranked New Mexico comes into one of the two biggest non-championship meets of the year without its top newcomer, Adva Cohen. Second-ranked Colorado has some lingering health questions. Fifth-ranked North Carolina State will open its season this weekend at Wisconsin because Hurricane Florence led to the cancellation of its only other scheduled September meet. Seventh-ranked Boise State still has questions as to whether No. 2 runner, Brenna Peloquin, will compete this year. Many of these questions will be answered this weekend.

The Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational will see many teams debuting their top runners.

Third-ranked Stanford will race at the Stanford Invitational against No. 16 Washington. Both teams have a lot of potential and could establish themselves as trophy contenders.
